Tutorial

Installation

Make sure you have the Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime files installed. Download them from here.

Next, run the FrameRunner.x.x.x.exe installer.

You should install the plugin to your After Effects Plug-Ins directory. The installer will try and detect this automatically.

You have the option of installing a few of our famous bigfug FreeFrame plugins to get you going.

If you want to install a demo version just leave the Name and Serial fields blank.

After installation you should have the following files in your Plug-Ins directory:

FreeFrame (dir)
   fugHueKey.dll
   fugMotionMatte.dll
   fugSobel.dll
FraneRunner.aex
FrameRunner-Uninstall.exe

Installing More FreeFrame Effects

Just copy the DLL's to the FreeFrame directory under your After Effects Plug-Ins directory. You will need to restart After Effects to see the new plugins appear.

Registration

If you have purchased a registration key (thanks, again!) then you will need to reinstall the plugin to activate it. Just follow the installation proceedure and enter your name and serial number when prompted.

Multiple After Effects Installations

If you have 6.5 and 7.0 installed, and you would like to use the plugin in both of them, just copy the Plug-Ins/FrameRunner.aex file across to the other installation. You don't need to copy the FreeFrame directory as the plugin scans all After Effects installations when it starts up.

Uninstalling

If you would like to uninstall the plugin you can run FrameRunner-Uninstall.exe that you will find in your After Effects plugin directory. It won't uninstall the FreeFrame plugins in the FreeFrame folder so you'll need to delete this directory manually.
